The ACC Liverpool Group, manages Liverpool’s world class campus ACC Liverpool, home to the Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and the M&S Bank Arena, as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter. Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to showcase exhibitions, developing our offer over the last decade to that of a world class provider of venue and event services.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team at ACC Liverpool to lead our internal and external communications strategy, providing a proactive and responsive PR service for our family of brands which include the M&S Bank Arena, Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and Ticket Quarter.

A dynamic and exciting role, the PR and Communications Manager sits at the heart of the business, creating opportunities to profile our fantastic programme and activities across relevant markets, including consumer and B2B.

Taking a broad approach to the communication mix, this role includes providing guidance and briefings to the Senior Management Team, managing a content strategy and using key digital platforms to promote key successes, managing stakeholders, delivering our awards strategy and providing a crisis communications service, as well as providing proactive communications to staff.

We are looking for someone with a passion for Liverpool who can tell our part of the city’s story across different platforms for varied audiences. The successful candidate will be a positive and proactive person with significant PR experience, used to identifying stories and liaising with the media. We are looking for a talented communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. Well networked and collaborative in their approach, the successful candidate will enjoy nurturing connections on behalf of the organisation.

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and collaboratively with sound judgement and the ability to prioritise, engage and interpret complex information for a range of audiences. Relevant industry experience would be beneficial.
