At Your Service Production
12 February 2014

ACC Liverpool’s production team has won a series of contracts to provide technical services for three high profile conferences and exhibitions.

NHS Confederation, British Association of Urological Surgeons and Accelerate 2014 have all chosen to keep production and technical in-house at the venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, after competitive tender processes.

The three repeat events take place in June this year and are expected to attract a total of around 5,300 delegates. Each will take elements from At Your Service, a menu of value added services available for event organisers.

NHS Confederation will return to ACC Liverpool from June 4 – 6 for the fourth time. Production will include speaker preview; soft edge projection to a super wide screen; live video streaming and recording; lighting and rigging.

Accelerate 2014, on June 20, will see full production including a host of video and animation content creation, graphics and stage set design as well as show calling and stage management for the extensive VIP line-up. Production at last year’s event was provided by ACC Liverpool.

For the British Association of Urological Surgeons, taking place between June 23 – 26, ACC Liverpool will provide full production including speaker preview for 11 concurrent sessions, twin-screen stage set and an exhibition video viewing area for delegates to watch breakout sessions. Nicky Norman, senior production and technical manager at ACC Liverpool, said: “Each of these events has been held at ACC Liverpool in the past and each organiser has chosen to use our in-house expertise which is reflection of our client relationships and their trust in our team.

“We were able to tailor a variety of value added services through our At Your Service programme, for example these include additional extras in the arena D-end for NHS Confederation. “As much as we welcome providing support for production agencies, it is encouraging to build up a portfolio to show our range of in-house services.”

Eija Hakkinen, interim head of events at NHS Confederation, said: “We have built up a strong relationship with ACC Liverpool over a number of years and were impressed with how the production department understood our vision and interpreted this by providing a host of creative options, all within budget. We are confident the team will deliver on every aspect of our event and anticipate another successful NHS Confederation in June.”
