Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, we have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to showcase exhibitions, developing our offer over the last decade to that of a world-class provider of venue and event services.
We are looking to recruit a part time Procurement Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing tender processes and procurement projects and be CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS qualification.
The role will focus on supporting managers with the procurement of a range of contracts for goods and services in accordance with agreed deadlines and performance indicators, whilst ensuring The ACC Liverpool Group obtains value for money for all externally purchased goods, works and services.
A key element of the role will be to provide managers with advice on options appraisal, tendering strategy, and the development of selection and evaluation criteria, and to advise on every aspect of the procurement process.
The role will include promoting the procurement service across the organisation and raising awareness of best practice wherever possible. Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to manage under pressure working to tight deadlines are essential for success in this role.
