Claire Sweeney and Les Dennis are confirmed to host NOW THAT'S WHAT WE CALL CULTURE - the biggest regional talent search ever!
Claire and Les will be amongst a whole host of celebrities giving their support at the Grand Final on Friday August 8th at the world-class Echo Arena.
Les Dennis speaking about the Final said…"I'm delighted to be involved in such a great event, Merseyside is renowned for its wealth of talent and I can't wait to see what's out there in 2008".
Phil Redmond, Creative Director, Liverpool Culture Company said…"It is fantastic to have Claire and Les involved in this project. The reason behind doing the show at the Arena is to give our biggest stage to what might become some of our biggest talent in the future. What better than to have two of our biggest names giving their support, encouraging others and helping remind everyone that this region is, has always been and will continue to be the pool of talent! It is also a reminder that when it comes to putting on a great show or night out – no other city could do it like Liverpool – simply from its own extended family!"
The lucky winner(s) will get the chance to play a starring role in the closing ceremony of the Capital Culture Year, a guest appearance in Channel 4's award winning teen drama Hollyoaks and a cash prize of £1000.
