Crowded House are the latest act to sign up for the Summer Pops, following on from last December's sold-out UK arena tour, they will perform at the Pops on Wednesday 9th July. 

With singer/songwriter, Neil Finn at the helm, the band's best loved hits include of "Don't Dream It's Over", "Weather With You", "Fall At Your Feet" and "Four Seasons In One Day."

New Zelander, Finn, a keen Liverpool supporter is looking forward to his Liverpool show "There’s a sense of humour and the warmth you get from the people. Liverpool has always been a great place to play" he continues "I'd really love to visit Anfield, I’ve never had the opportunity, but that would be great."

Last year saw the reformation of the band, and the release of the critically acclaimed album "Time On Earth", which entered the UK charts at number three and included the singles "Don’t Stop Now," "She Called Up" and "Pour Le Monde."
