The ACC Liverpool Group’s production team provided technical services for a series of events which returned to the waterfront venue.
The department delivered full production for the British Society of Gastroenterology, Jamfest, the British Association of Urological Surgeons and Make a Difference which all took place in June.
Technical services included a plenary session with superwide projection screens in both the Arena D end and Hall 1a; a silent auditorium session located in the middle of a busy exhibition; lighting and sound design and implementation for both Jamfest and Make A Difference; and ‘BAUS on Demand’ where conference sessions were recorded and made available for later viewing onsite and online.
AV support was also provided for the International Festival for Business (IFB2016), which took place in Exhibition Centre Liverpool throughout June.
Nicky Norman, head of production and technical services, said: “We have previously worked with many of the clients who came to us again in June so this gave us an insight into what sort of technical services, production and AV equipment they required, and what would work well on their events. This meant their events ran smoothly and successfully, and we have had some great feedback from our clients.
“As well as these returning events and many others which took place in BT Convention Centre and the Echo Arena, we provided some support for IFB2016 in Exhibition Centre Liverpool. This alone consisted of more than 80 events over three weeks.
“It was a busy period but we thrive on the diversity and the interesting challenges each one brings.”
