ACC Liverpool welcomed BBC Worldwide for the fourth time for its annual Showcase event
The waterfront venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, welcomed over 700 global TV buyers over four days.
Hall two of the convention centre was transformed to include 600 specially constructed digi booths for delegates to screen British television content throughout the day.
Highlights included a star-studded dinner held in the arena with celebrities including Michelle Keegan, Russell Tovey, Kris Marshall and John Bishop. Entertainment was provided by John Cleese, David Hasselhoff, Paolo Nutini and the Backstreet Boys as guests dined on a menu which included pan roast rump of Welsh mountain lamb and a dark chocolate disco ball dessert, all provided by the venue’s caterers Centerplate.
A stunning candlelit dinner was held at Liverpool Cathedral, themed around the drama Wolf Hall, the following evening which was attended by actor Jonathan Pryce who plays Cardinal Wolsey in the BBC Two show.

BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC and the largest distributor of TV programming outside of the US, launched hundreds of hours of highly anticipated original content at BBC Worldwide Showcase 2015.
