ACC Liverpool welcomed guests to its London Showcase at Bloomsbury Ballroom, marking a decade since the venue first hosted its annual event in the capital.
Around 120 guests in the association, corporate and exhibition sectors, along with agency representatives, attended for an evening of ‘It’s Showtime’ themed networking.
The ACC Liverpool team updated attendees on the latest news from the venue – including the launch of Exhibition Centre Liverpool three months ago.
The new facility, which has doubled the waterfront complex to 15,225 sqm of integrated and flexible event space, has hosted a series of events ranging from Girls’ Day Out to Wound Expo to Toytopia. Forthcoming exhibitions include Camperex and MCM Comic Con.
ACC Liverpool was joined by the four-star integrated hotel, Pullman Liverpool, which will open in February. City partners included Liverpool Convention Bureau, Liverpool Football Club and Virgin Trains.
Guests attended from organisations including the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers, NHS Confederation, RenewableUK and Diabetes UK. Attendees were greeted by ‘paparazzi’ on the red carpet and entertainment was also provided by The Twin Swing Charleston band.
Kerrin MacPhie, director of conference and exhibition sales at The ACC Liverpool Group, said: “2015 has been a significant year for The ACC Liverpool Group and has brought huge developments with the opening of our new exhibition centre exactly three months ago.
“The Showcase provided an opportunity for us all to reflect on our phenomenal journey since our very first Showcase in 2006 and to thank our valued contacts who have supported us.”
Production was delivered by The ACC Liverpool Group’s in-house team.
