ACC Liverpool welcomed Liverpool FC footballers to the club’s inaugural Players’ Awards Dinner.
The first team, including PFA player of the year Luis Suarez and captain Steven Gerrard, along with manager Brendan Rodgers, attended the prestigious ceremony at the waterfront venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena.
Around 800 guests mingled with celebrities, including singer Joss Stone and LFC legends such as Robbie Fowler, at the event, the first in LFC’s history. Fans voted for a range of awards and an auction was held to raise money for the Liverpool FC Foundation.
Full production was provided in-house by the ACC Liverpool team, including AV and creative content for screens. A three-course meal was provided by the venue’s in-house caterers Centerplate and included a Ploughman’s terrine to start, Williams of Flint braised beef with chive and truffle mash and a trio of desserts.
Last year ACC Liverpool hosted the LFC Standard Chartered Trophy Dinner and welcomed England captain Gerrard and 1,000 guests to his testimonial dinner.
Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC, said: “Once again ACC Liverpool has helped us deliver an outstanding event. Everything from production to catering was excellent.”
