The ACC Liverpool Group, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, opened in January 2008 and has established itself as a leading centre for conferences and entertainment. We are currently expanding the business with the development of ‘Exhibition Centre Liverpool’ which has recently opened and hosted its first events.

The successful candidate will be a sales expert in the conference and meetings industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a large venue, nationally or internationally, be familiar with the booking patterns of UK based associations and be experienced in multi-year deal negotiation and a proficient presenter to small and large client groups. The client will also have experience in exhibiting at trade shows nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will have experience in dealing with association sector meetings from a venue perspective, understand how a convention bureau can support the overall sales journey, be a confident presenter and have a proven track record on winning significant business deals. Ideally, the candidate will have an understanding of the international bidding process through a national association and PCO and be familiar with ICCA.
