The ACC Liverpool Group, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, opened in January 2008 and has established itself as a leading centre for conferences and entertainment. We are currently expanding the business with the development of ‘Exhibition Centre Liverpool’ which has recently opened and hosted its first events.
The ACC Liverpool Group is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join our busy Finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity within Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising and issuing invoices to customers, for both stage payment invoices in accordance with the sales contract and ad hoc invoices relating to the company’s various income streams. This role will also reconcile promoter settlements both for events held at The ACC Liverpool Group and other venues for which The ACC Liverpool Group have sold tickets and ensure that all funds due are paid to the promoter within the agreed timeframe.
Month end duties include the completion of the Balance Sheet reports relating to the Box Office’s sale of tickets for inclusion in the Balance Sheet Reporting Pack.
A key part of the role is to support the Assistant Finance Manager in effectively managing the company’s credit control procedures ensuring payments are collected when they fall due. This includes sending statements and reminder letters and following up by telephone, e-mail or letter as appropriate.
To be successful within this role you will need to have keen attention to detail and be self-motivated. Experience of working in a busy Finance office is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Microsoft Office software including Excel and Finance business systems as well as the ability to prioritise.
